Dog grooming includes both hygienic maintenance and cleaning of a dog as well as a procedure to improve a dog's physical appearance for competition or exhibition. A person who grooms dogs for a living is known as a dog groomer (or simply "groomer").
A dog's health and well-being can be improved by grooming, which is essential for both. Breed, age, and health all have a role in how much grooming a dog requires. The dog's comfort and health are ensured by routine grooming. While many dogs shed, some breeds, like the poodle, don't shed as much and only need to be groomed every 4 to 8 weeks.
The following are the main reasons for consistency grooming, such as: reduced risk of a variety of health issues, including thrush, scrapes, and other skin issues.
Overall cleanliness of the dog monitoring of the dog's health by looking for any symptoms of sickness, such as cuts, hot areas, swelling, lameness, or changes in attitude.
Strengthening of the link between the dog and the owner
Lowering the number of external parasites that infest the skin
Avoid matting that may result in health issues, such as skin rashes or the trapping of dangerous bacteria in the coat.
In the event that your dog exhibits symptoms of illness or an insect infestation, kindly reschedule your visit (fleas, mites, ticks). Coughing or wheezing may indicate a common, highly contagious respiratory infection. Your dog will be returned home if we ever detect any indication of these problems.
If your dog is in heat or a week before or after her heat cycle, kindly reschedule your appointment. Even the faint aroma of a female in heat can make other dogs, particularly males, act strangely and even violently. Please refrain from bringing in a female who is in heat for the safety of both us and our customers. We'll try to reschedule you as soon as possible.
Please use leashes and refrain from letting your dog approach other dogs without first consulting the owner or staff. This is for everyone's protection. Before you bring your dog in, please let us know if your dog has any issues with other dogs or if you simply need to borrow a leash. This will allow us to ensure a safe transition for everyone. If you need assistance, you can ring the doorbell outside the front entrance and inside our lobby. If your dog has trouble getting in or out of your car, we are always delighted to help load or unload your pet, and we have tools to make the process easier for you.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
